Many Badger fans have very high expectations for Jalen. For those of you expecting him to rush for 1,000 yards this season you may be disappointed. He's not a pure running back. He is more of an all purpose back. Now, that's not a bad thing, but you will never see him carrying the ball 20 to 25 times a game. He will catch passes out of the backfield and in the slot. There is a possibility he might even redshirt this year. Who knows? Nobody at this point. Let's look at his high school rushing numbers:
