Visit to Madison

I’m considering a trip to Madison next year for the Penn State game.

What are the must see/do/eat/drink things in the area? Iconic restaurants or bars. Traditions. Sites to see. Best area to stay.

I’m really hoping things are back to normal by then. If not, Lord help us.

Best steak house is Rare. It's right on the square and offers great upscale food but definitely casual during game weekends. Call early when games are in town, it's always busy on those Friday and Saturday nights.
