Like many other highly-recruited 2018 prospects, Bastida is preparing to transition from the offer collection phase to the offer trimming phase. The spring evaluation period ends on May 31st and Bastida would like to cut down the list of schools recruiting him by the end of spring.
“At the end of the spring, I’ll have a full list. Right now, it’s mostly the Big Ten schools that offered me like Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and some other schools like LSU, Syracuse, and Pitt,” Bastida said. “Those guys are still in the mix also and I’m waiting for a couple others too.”
