I am normally the most positive and optimistic Badger basketball fan but our play over the last month makes me believe we are going to have a tough time winning many more games.
I can see us losing at MSU Sunday, perhaps beating Iowa and losing the Minnesota. I am cringing when I say I can also see first round losses in both the BTT and the NCAA.
It is to difficult to pinpoint what is wrong because so much is wrong; very poor defense tonight, a continued inability to have a consistent offense, losing literally every 50/50 ball and player confidence all seem to be problems.
GG,in my opinion, has not found a solution to the double teaming the post which now every single team is doing effectively. Until that happens, or we shoot like OSU did tonight, we are not going score 70 points again in a game this year.
Hope I am wrong. The Ohio guys must feel completely humiliated tonight. Hopefully that will be the crisis needed to turn this around. Hoping, but skeptical...
