IMHO, a major reason is that you need the next guy to learn the work ethic from CC and how he goes about his business. It's been well documented how hard MGIII worked and CC as well. Having the example of hard work = success is a very valuable lesson for young men, especially guys who have had success because they have been more physically developed through HS and when they get to college, it's a whole different ball game. If they don't have someone to look up to, they can take it for granted.
