I received the letter and I see this a bit differently than Barry. I see this as a operation that did nothing to remove the snow from the student section. What did the athletic department think would happen? Well now they know. I get it the grounds crew was focused on the playing surface. They worked through the night and did a great job. However about 30 labor hours of students with shovels would have cleared the vast majority of the snow from the student section. Next time be better prepared.
