* offense.... not going to whine about the play calling but I thought we were unprepared for the blitzes & stunts the Illini defense thru at us....and it took forever to adjust....how many times did the Illini have more defenders in a particular gap than we had blockers? drove me nuts....
* defense.... it was obvious to everyone that we had too many bad defensive calls when there was no one in the middle of the defense to stop a simple QB draw....it was too easy for the Illini.... and running two-deep zone with Ferguson did not work; two long completions when JF couldn't get in position because he lacks range (not blaming him, I thought the coaches didn't put him in a postion to succeed)....he simply doesn't have the range that Dixon has
