MADISON, Wis. – In advance of its season-opener vs. LSU in the Carmex Lambeau Field College Classic, the Wisconsin football team will hold a practice in Green Bay on April 2.

The Badgers will practice inside the Don Hutson Center beginning at 10 a.m. After practice, the team will have the opportunity to tour Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.

“I’m excited for our players,” UW head coach Paul Chryst said. “Lambeau Field is one of the great places in our sport and we’re really looking forward to playing there in September, but this gives them a chance to take some time and really see what it’s all about.

“I have to say thank you to everyone in the Packers organization for helping give our players the opportunity. The hospitality from the Packers has been first-class.

Wisconsin’s practice will be open to the media, with Chryst available at the conclusion of the session.

Media should enter through the north end of the Hutson Center along Armed Forces Drive. Parking in the Lambeau Field lot will be available for $6 due to an event at the adjacent Resch Center complex.
