Already seen a few articles out there by the media calling Big Ten overrated etc...
I know other programs have coaching changes and distractions..
The Big Ten did not receive many favorable match-ups imho
We also have the coaching change in Indiana, the Minnesota ordeal,
Maryland is a 1 point favorite so hardly a favorite at all, We are 8.5 favorites now and I feel we should be, Ohio State a favorite over another playoff team so not really a guaranteed win their, and Michigan a favorite over FSU which I feel they are the better team so no argument there.
What do we consider a successful Big Ten Bowl season?
I think Maryland, Michigan, Ohio St. and Wisconsin are the likely winners with Ohio St not being a lock but if they play their A game they will win imho.
Penn St I think has a chance but USC secondary matches up well so I give a slight edge to USC.
That being said if we the 4 games I mentioned above and Ohio St. can win it all I consider it a successful season for the Big Ten.
If Ohio St. advances but loses in the big game and we get wins from Michigan, Wisconsin, Maryland and Penn St. I think that is a good bowl season.
Nebraska and Indiana could surprise but I am not confident enough to stick my head out there for them. Nebraska plays Tennessee in Nashville and Indiana dealing with coaching change so may not be sharp enough to win.
