I had class and whatnot so I'm just getting to type this, but Bo was here this morning at UWP as a Distinguished Lecturer. He spent a lot of time talking about Platteville and his time here, but there were a few things that I thought I'd share here.
Jeff Gard (UWP HC) did the "interviewing" on stage. After some talk about UWP, Jeff asked about his brother Greg. Bo started talking about how he talked to GG last night on the phone and GG told him he couldn't make it because he was out recruiting. So Bo is talking and from behind the stage (and behind Bo) GG comes out and we all started clapping. Bo turned around GG came up on stage and they embraced and talked about Platteville together. It was awesome. One point They asked Bo why he got into coaching and he said something to the effect of "because of guys like Greg" and they stood up and embraced again. It was awesome. Gard is all class. Said he flew in and booked it here from Madison before having to go back right away.
Bo also said "off the record" what happened to Jeter was "unfair". The talk lasted about and hour and 45 minutes. Overall it was a ton of fun and if there is a link of the whole thing out there, I'll post it when I find it.
