Is a very smart football player when it comes to getting open. Can get off press coverage, will get back over the top and does a nice job keeping defenders guessing when they are trailing him. Comes off the line with good surge and vs. off coverage, stems DBs and uses leverage and alignment to his advantage. Knows how to get on the toes of defenders and you sneaky quickness making breaks just as he's avoiding contact. Uses technique and understanding of coverage to create separation both going into the break and out.
Ball Skills
Possesses natural, almost effortless ball skills. Plucks on the run with confidence. Tucks quickly and wastes little time getting upfield after the catch. Does not fight the football or allow the ball to get into his frame often. Is really dangerous on slants and underneath routes when the ball is thrown accurately because he gets up the field so quickly after the catch that he can hit a crease and go.
Big Play Ability
He is a very sneaky player as a vertical target. His 3/4 speed release off the line can lull defenders to sleep and then he shifts gears and can get over the top. Tracks the deep ball very well. His precision as a route runner, quick feet and reliability allow for him to consistently get open even vs. top flight DBs. Has enough explosiveness and initial quickness after the catch to be a factor with the ball in his hands in the open field. He has the competitive speed to catch a crease and take it the distance once in the open field. He's one of those guys that has enough big play ability to be dangerous, but maybe not spectacular in any one individual trait.

There is something about this kid. Green has some really strong traits and may be getting overlooked a bit. He's one of those guys that has a work ethic and as a result will out perform other guys. He's not just a good receiver, but a good football player too.
