Just listened to a public radio discussion of leadership on the greatest sports dynasties. The common thread wasn't coaching or talented stars, but the unsung leaders who pulled the teams together and made everyone around them better. In Badger history Joe Panos in '93 comes to mind. Leo Musso last year on defense. Josh Gasser and Zack Showalter in Basketball. As we watch this current Badger team seem to struggle to play to their potential, I wonder if they lack that player(s). Any suggestions on who has that potential or if you also see this as a weakness on an otherwise pretty solid team. If you look at all the position groups, there is no glaring weakness, even if many of us see Horni as less than star caliber. Thoughts?
