we now have four WRs who are pretty well developed and pretty reliable and Cephus might actually be the slowest of the bunch.
Before he was injured, he was clearly our best WR and most clutch also but the three other kids all showed signs of being excellent and our throwing game might have actually taken a step forward after his injury.
Cephus will be a true jr as will AJ Taylor and AJ took a massive leap forward this season, so both should play a lot.
Danny Davis must see the field and Pryor, after returning from the facial injuries showed promise that was realized often and might be the best in running sweeps of the whole lot.
Add the two Texas kid who RS’ed and have the pedigrees to be ready next season and the four Frosh and this is by far the deepest WR pool Badgers have had, probably ever.
Cephus needs to return 100% and quickly too but even then, I wonder if the position he played which was “go to “ receiver , before he was injured will really ever exist again next season, with so many other choices.
