So many theories going on with experts on TV... to me it seems pretty clear. But hey, there isnt much to talk about if no one brings up different theories
Alabama and OSU are in
Clemson is in if it wins ACC championship
Washington is in if it wins PAC-12 championship
If Clemson or Wash lose, winner of B1G championship will be in as a second B1G team.
Michigan will not go... they will likely be rated #5 this week with Wisconsin #6.... if Wisconsin OR Penn State wins they will JUMP michigan... it doesnt matter that michigan beat both because the winner of the B1G championship will have the same number of losses and one more win than michigan... PLUS the title of B1G champ... Michigan cant overcome 1 less win and no title...
OSU is in because they have one less loss than either team that could win the B1G, they have tie breaker with Wisconsin, their strength of schedule is superior to Penn State..
Only Argument I could possibly fathom is that Penn State would deserve a spot MORE than OSU because if they win they have a championship and the head to head, but I dont see that happening with the one less loss, and PSU getting Blown out by Michigan and a bad loss to PITT.
Only way someone else could get in is if the unthinkable happens and Washington, Clemson BOTH lose... then Michigan likely would get in.. they beat Colorado.. so technically it could get really out of control for that last spot, but basically its cut and dry
or is it? hahhahah
