In thinking this through, and for the most part, most of us are fairly impressed with the recruiting this staff is doing. I have to think the staff REALLY likes this kid and thinks he has some unique abilities, otherwise they would slow play him for someone else else. I'm seeing some pretty nice offers out there for a very small amount of spots. In the end, this one goes down as a "you gotta trust the staff" on him. If at worst he's no more productive than Jay Valai then I'm happy with him.
