Is there a better O-lineman in the NFL today than Joe Thomas? If there is I haven't seem him.
I remember a few months back there was a discussion about if you were going to start an NFL franchise and you could have any former Badger FB player to be your first pick who would you choose? Many picked JJ Watt (and understandably so), but my pick was Joe Thomas.
Joe was solid as a rock for the Badgers and has been solid as a rock in the NFL making the ProBowl every year he's played in the NFL. And he did it playing for the worst franchise, so that IMO speaks volumes about his dedication and work ethic as he could have played down to the level of the team but refused to do so.
