I just read in the preview for the exhibition BB game tonight on UW Badgers.com that with the BB team making in to the Final Four and the FB team winning the Outback Bowl last season that marked the 13th season in a row that Wisconsin has had a NCAA Tourney berth in BB and a bowl appearance in FB.
It stated next in line for this two sport success was Michigan St at 8 seasons in a row. If consistency in FB and BB is a mark of success for the Badger athletic dept than you would have to say the Badgers have one of the most successful athletic programs in the country.
