I know it is early in the year, and I know D' Cota has some big shoes to fill replacing Caputo. He has a lot of things to improve on.
All that being said.
I am giving D'Cota the nickname "The Dagger"
He was the dagger vs LSU with the interception (yes I know it was a horrible throw, nonetheless he caught a key interception in a big game.) Then there was his hit on Scott from MSU that was eventually returned by Musso for a TD. I felt that play sealed the deal for us vs. Sparty.
I hope we have more positive examples of D'Cota being a dagger going forward.
