Ohio State has the athletes but the bottom to mid teams of the Big Ten West sure have been giving the upper brass in the East a hard time this year.

Sparty barely beat Purdue weeks ago 24-21 and got beat in a close game vs Nebraska today. So much for their many weeks in the top 10. That Oregon win was not as big as everyone originally made it out to be and they have been living it up in the polls all year because of that win even though it has been obvious for weeks Oregon is not a contender.

Ohio St has not looked great vs. the bottom teams in the Big Ten all year. They may have pulled away late in the game but they really have not been dominant vs teams they should have dominated. Heck they struggled vs Northern Illinois and Western Illinois both decent MAC schools but should be no match for the almight Ohio St.

Unless Ohio State starts playing cleaner football, They could possibly not make the Big Ten Championship game. The Michigan game could be an important game this year. I still think Ohio State has the athletes and should be the best team in the Big Ten but they are vulnerable if they keep playing the way they have thus far this year.

I could see Sparty finding a way to beat Ohio State if Ohio State is sloppy with ball and has turnovers. And then having Michigan beat Ohio State in the rivalry game.
