since expansion, i believe this is the year that the 'conference' games will determine the winner of the west instead of the division games. A team could and probably will go undefeated in the division but lose a crossover game or games and that will cost them the division. Personally, it makes no sense and i believe the division games should determine the outcome. Conference games as tie breaker i sould deal with.
And yes i know we have the two easiest crossover games ( rutgers and maryland) of anyone. Obviously next year is a different story but i think it could bite a NW this year, starting this sat.
