Think he is the true sleeper in the class, three sport athlete, team captain in two sports, humble, religious kid who is coming to Madison to work and succeed, good sized CB, probably 5’11ish, good speed, ran 11.60 as a 10th grader, played WR and DB and made some key catches late to help win games on a very successful team.
Not afraid to stick his nose into the scrum and has made some hard hits after the catch, hard to tell much about his coverage or recovery speed from the film but there’s a hint of Press defense there, bump and run and I liked what I saw, he’s physical for a CB, plays with some real attitude, not a soft California type player.
His film shows tremendous ability in the return game and he blocks a kick off the edge, two skills that , to me , often shows moxie and good overall football acumen.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he turned out to be a real player for us down the road, even a starting Corner, someday.
