In an article posted on the front page the East v. West narrative came up. The author thinks the East was better in the past and will be better this year.
Yes, The West has lost the first 3 B10 titles since going to a 14 team league. Yes they have 3 teams ranked in the preseason Top 10. Those rather arbitrary numbers aren't reflective of the divisions' strength.
In 2016, The East hosted the Big Ten West for 2 of 3 cross-over games and The West won 11 of the 21 games.
This year the pendulum swings. The Big Ten West will host 2 of 3 cross-over games. My bet is The West (again) win total increases this year.
