I thought Gard made two mistakes last night during the last 5-10 minutes of the game. One was discussed in another thread, that being keeping Happ in the game on the Badgers' final possession, the one that ended with Pritzl making one of two FT.
The other mistake was not playing Ford during the final 7-10 minutes, until there were 7 seconds left. I thought he had his best game, plays decent D, and was 4-5 on threes. He is certainly a better option than Schlundt. Any ideas as to why Schlundt got the PT?
