It goes into effect on Aug 1st. I know this infromation came out about 4 months ago, but I dont think this is getting enough discussion on the recruiting implications. Wiscosin ranks 12th in the country being able to pay $4700 per year for cost of attendance. Ohio State and Michigan are only in the $2500 range. Only team in the B1G that is higher is Penn State.
Interested in everyones thoughts:
1) Are WI coaches selling this enough? or Do you think its a non issue?
2) Could this be enough to flip higher rated players in Basketball and Football recruiting equalling higher rated recruiting classes?
