Great Freshman Class or Underperforming upperclassmen?

It’s great that the players in the freshman class look good, but is this a bigger sign that the cupboard wasn’t exactly full from previous staff….last year I never felt like there was a ton of talent on the field…in year 2 of Fick the 2 deep has seen quite a turnover with transfers and underclassmen.
