Bo was really lobbying for him tonight after the win. Any further insight into UW-GB opening Zack? I wonder what other schools are looking at him or that he is interviewing with. I would be surprised if he isn't offered a job somewhere after UW's season comes to an end Monday night.
Shaka and Bennett are often mentioned as Bo's replacement. I have often wondered why is Gard not mentioned in the same breath? If he gets a D1 job and is successful does he become a more realistic option when that day comes? I would assume he would continue with Bo's system or at least be heavily influenced into Bo's style that has put UW on the map in Men's Basketball. No reason he couldn't follow up Bo and expect similar success.
I do like the idea of Bennett, but I would have no problem with Gard running the program when Bo decides to hang it up.
