From ESPN:
Size-Strength-Range
Grady possesses a good blend of size, strength and playing speed/range for the outside linebacker position. His sturdy frame appears capable of supporting additional bulk over time. Moves efficiently through traffic, taking correct pursuit angles to the football.

Instincts/Take On Skills
Is an instinctive football player who reacts well to misdirection runs while also flashing the upper body playing strength and hand quickness needed to shed blockers; upper body strength and pop should improve with physical maturity. His balance and agility allows him to avoid blockers and still make plays; is an outstanding inside run defender, capable of stacking at the point; consistently maintains leverage on the ball.

Tackling
We see a consistent tackler who flashes high wrap and punishing toughness; goes low at times allowing for some drag yardage after contact. His playing speed and toughness make him a very good candidate for special teams duty.

3rd Down Capabilities
This prospect displays advanced key and diagnosis coverage skills which should keep him on the field in 3rd down situations; shows crossover/drop ability with eyes on the quarterback; looks up and disrupts receivers; puts himself in position to intercept and break up passes, displaying very good ball skills. Gets off the mark quickly to bring inside pressure on the quarterback.

Bottom Line
Grady's athleticism, toughness and intellect are impressive; most likely a red shirt year will be needed to grow physically prior to competing for playing time at the Power Conference level of competition.
