For years the 2016 season and this schedule loomed on the horizon. Going into the year it wouldn't have been out of the question to see a losing season. Hearing the players and Chryst himself talking about how excited they were for the opportunity to play against the teams they had scheduled seemed lip service at best. But here we are after 12 games played, and only one weak performance (Georgia State). This team showed up prepared and motivated, week after week. The ability to overcome injuries in the middle of their defense, play well while juggling QB's, coach up a young secondary to where they have become a strength of the team, all made for one of the best coaching jobs I have seen. Wisconsin fans have been accustomed to having tough teams led by tough men, but here comes this bumbling humble Holiday Bowl wearing dorky guy bringing out every ounce of potential from this team. Hats off, as a Badger fan my whole life I feel this is possibly my favorite team (1993 may still be in the running). So proud that this is my team!
