Just a few thoughts on the Hausers... As Jon said, we are all in on trying to get Joey, not even offering anyone else in that spot... Im not sure why Sam chose Marquette, he would have all the playing time he could stand this season for wisconsin, obviously he was too caught up in wanting to play a ton last year...
Now we are learning that Marquette really has too many forwards and would possibly want to recruit a guard for the class instead of Joey (hypothetical of course).
We learned with the Ellensons that Marquette really doesnt care much about loyalty. Even if you dont like the ellesons, I know them personally and they obviously care about family and sticking together... As soon as henry went pro, Marquette canned Wally... Wally was not a bad player, very athletic and could shoot better than he was given credit for. To just cut him in the off season just because they no longer needed him to get Henry is just pathetic in my opinion...
With that being said , any chance that the hausers see through Wojo's bullshit if Marquette doesnt go after Joey?
Could we possibly end up with Joey AND get Sam to transfer?
if I were the hauser parents, i would want my kids to play together on the same team as long as it is a viable option.... If Marquette recruited Sam and promised Joey a spot down the road and then backed out on that, I would be pissed.... I know Sam would have to sit a year if he transferred, but who cares....
