LOL, I made my point, I'll drop it but think of it this way.
A more conservative approach to UW sports would be to spend a million extra to get a great Coach with the understanding that it's money well spent because winning teams make alumni spend more, there are more people at games , more publicity means more student applications and more money and prestige in the long run.
The Leftist approach would be to hire inexpensively and drain the AD of as much money as possible, causing loss of income and prestige in the long run and then blaming Bush or the Governor.
