So Corey was "back" this week and available to play. Yet dare starts, gets way too many carries and our run game was terrible. Is it obvious to anyone else that dare really isn't a very good back, and when Clement gets the ball he is noticeably much much better?
We saw this in the Maryland game, and even in this loss when Corey scored a touchdown. If Corey is going to play, make him the featured back and let him go to work.
I know we had no time outs and everything, but I really wanted Clement to get the ball on the one yard line.
It's just frustrating that we aren't playing our best player like we should and we are relying on stave who was getting murdered in there. You can't pick and choose a play here and there for Corey to play and expect good things from him. Clement wasn't even in the game at the end.
Kind of brings back memories from the TCU rose bowl. Take your chances on the goal line running the ball. Especially since we know the type of player Clement is. He can't Win us games if you aren't using him enough. 10 carries isn't enough
