I mean it from this sense - covering Michigan for all those years, Brady is THE former Wolverine everyone holds up as the standard, and for good reason, but when he was at U-M, he was a good player, arguably on the verge of being great, but he wasn't lauded like the hero he is now. I wonder if Watt was similar. I remember him from college but not like this. He's ungodly now. So I'm asking, to what degree was he celebrated when he was a Badger? Or is he a bigger deal now because of his NFL success?
