i was impressed with Horni today. Yes, he was 9-19. Yes, he had a bad interception. However, he did some things today that he typically hasn’t done and grew in other area. And, that is a great D he was facing. (#2 in nation)
1. Didn’t let Slow start/INT/sacks/pressure get to him
2. Ran for his 1st positive rush in his career (that I’m aware of)
3. Threw the ball away more than usual instead of forcing it
4. Took sacks when he had to
5. Made 2 great throws to AJ Taylor (both right on the money- 1st one with a Guy right in his face)
6. Stepped up in pocket/more pocket awareness
7. Managed the clock great at the end
- yes, he has areas to improve, but today he took a step forward
