Believe it or not, I think today's game against Akron is really important.
For me, it's important because it will tell us how this team handles success. The LSU win was big. The talk about the LSU win lingered a little longer than I would have liked this week. The coaches and players have said all the right things to the media in their prep for Akron...but today we'll find out if that's more the lip service.
I'm not looking for an absolute throttling of Akron. I'm looking at the manner in which UW plays. If they play well and the game is tight...I'm okay with that. If the play poorly and the game isn't close...I'm not okay with that.
