and this is what I could see.

QB: What is there to say, Horni is a statue, decent thrower, especially over the middle, overall pretty limited. What are you going to do, Chryst chose him.

OL: I thought they played pretty damn well, against a young fired up defense , who totally disrespected our ability to hurt them with the pass. Dieter got rewarded for taking the hit and moving to LT, with a TD, he belongs inside where he’s a monster.Edwards is on his way to being a beast, definitely has Rickey Wagner type ability, arguably way ahead of Wagner at the same point.Thought Dietzen played a good game also, maybe one of his best, BB was solid.I can se some good stuff coming over the next few weeks from this group.

WRs: Damn, I love Pryor’s athleticism, love his ability to get open but sadly, he’s another Body catcher and that means drops and a lack of consistency, can you count on him in big spots? Same deal with AJ Taylor who wasn’t targeted again after his drop, AJ just doesn’t understand ball security and doesn’t have great hands, as opposed to Cepheus who is arguably less athletic than those two but is a teriffic football player who understands what is needed and can be depended on to make the big play.We need Danny Davis to return and get comfy, what a bad injury for this team when DD went down, he needed the reps.

TE: Fumagalli is still hobbled, not an asset out there right now.How sad they found it necessary to run off Hescock who could run and block.Penniston hasn’t developed at all, I was always a skeptic as to his 4 star status , Neuville isn’t part of the game plan, except as a surprise and we really have no TE right now? Crazy.

RBs: Taylor is so good which is proven by seeing everybody else.Shaw just has no speed, not much quickness either, though he ran it pretty well inside and he doesn’t cough it up.A disappointment really, I thought he was better, maybe he isn’t in shape from the injury still.Groshek is a player, wonder if he can do it against the top teams, think he can develop with a little more strength and a few more pounds and he’ll be a load, great straight arm and good balance and vision but not a Jonathon Taylor, who is?
Hope James returns quickly, his speed can be useful and he can catch

DL: I thought they were good again.
94 is a tower of strength inside, # 99 too.
Alec, “ I get no respect” James might be hearing footsteps and had his best game, 2 sacks, a big stop, a fumble recovery and was in the QBs face on Tindals INT.
Where are you Loudermilk, you are missed?

LB’ers: I dunno, I thought Orr and Edwards pLayed their worst games though Orr had good stats, is B.B. really a Linebackers-coach? On the other hand Connolly was pretty solid, all over the field.
I thought Leon Jacobs was asleep in this game, #5 solid again but Van Ginkel had his best game yet.Sacks, stops, decent In pass defense, just getting better and better, more comfy. If he and Connolly can each add 7 lbs of muscle and retain their speed this off-season both can be huge factors in next years defense, will be in either event.

DBs: Nelson is great, hope he doesn’t bolt, he’s allover these guys and though not a ball hawk for Ints, knocks down and defends a lot of passes.Tindal made a great move on the INT, not as good as Nelson but both should be left on Islands and they can hold up with a pass rush.
Jamerson was put in a position where his athleticism was negated, way back off the line, didn’t get to make any plays near the line, when he finally got a chance at an easy INT, he dropped it, where is the concentration for these guys?
Carrier-Williams with another solid game considering his youth, Fergie is a football player, just not a superior athlete but he doesn’t hurt you out there and has a real nose for the football, we missed #14.

Specials were fine, punter a little shaky but Gags looks confident with his golfers draw, though he’s better from the right hashmark, not ideal.
Cover two , too me , is still cover nobody, makes bad players look good against you, I hate it.
Injuries are mounting, why we played Fumagalli last couple of weeks to me is a total puzzle , oh well, Indiana on the road might be a test.
