We could be as low as number 8 or 9 in the college football playoff initial ranking that comes out this week. I really don't believe it matters, because if we went out we are 100% in if we went out, but our horrid nonconference schedule and unfortunate conference slate for this year will be made an example of in the early, meaningless rankings.
I think we need to prepare for the worst.
