It's quite clear now that we realize DVB and Coan are on scholarship. And it's been widely known that they want to take 2 QB's next year. That means the coaching staff is looking for competition and needs the position to get better. Frankly, I'd be surprised if Coan can master the playbook, huddle and lead his teammates in the next 7 months as a true freshman, but who knows. I think in 2018 is when we have the "open" qb competition, but I think AH has got to be looking over his shoulder. Time will tell.
I'm like most of you interested in seeing what the attrition is going to be. Now that DVB is on scholie and DD is coming in, I think we have to have what 2 or 4 more? I predicted at least one freshman or redshirt freshman washing out and then the usual suspect of Patterson and Estes.
