To begin with, I thought the OL was damn good in both run and pass blocking, Kapoi probably played his best game, destroyed his man quite often, I think we'll go between him and Ramcyk when we need an important yard or so and if Dietzen returns soon, so much the better.

Deal looked fine, his vision is getting better, wish he would run behind his pads a little more but he was doing fine before the injury.

Dares strength supposedly is making people miss in the open field., he catches the ball and he has very good ball security, why the hell wasn't he returning the kicks in Jamersons absence, right from the beginning?

Always thought Shaw would be a good Back AND if I remember correctly, he started in HS for four seasons and NEVER fumbled once.

OK, I feel badly for Houston, he really didn't do very much wrong but Horni has the "It" factor, I think he's a very confident, detached from emotion type kid, couldn't give a sheet about Houston, just wants to play every down and lead the team.
He could struggle some next few games but he just might end up the best Badger QB ever, if he keeps developing.
Seems to have a chance, has good height, decent feet, good touch with apparently just enough arm strength to get the job done.

Penniston got some much needed confidence and experience but he's not a very powerful looking TE at this point but like Fumagali catches the ball.Tough to expect him to come up big time next four-five games but the ability seems there, reminds me a bit of Jackob Petersen of recent vintage Badger TEs.

Wheelwright looks like he could actually become a go to CLutch third down WR, something we desperately need and Peavy is OK out there too , pretty good player.Rushing should have RS'd what was he thinking? He's a Jr. now and plays like a rank beginner out there, has talent but isn't a dependable player yet.
The two Freshman played like true freshman today, I dont expect much from either one next three games, maybe a surprise play here or there, maybe they don't play much at all.

Really don't get the love for Chikwe, he's so mediocre, so average, don't get it, except we have nothing else.

Edwards looks like a future NFL player to me, his size and speed, is greatly needed out there, saw him limping a bit, we need him desperately next two games and rest of the season.Cichy is instinctive but isn't really a thick, powerful inside type third and one type backer, Edwards adds some muscle.

I was sick watching 5-7 yard cushions creeping into our gameplay again, never happened under Aranda, I thought we were staying In man to man press coverage, why were we playing cover nobody defense like in the old days, when we couldn't beat the good teams and let bad ones stay in games with us?
Bend but don't break? Sad, I miss Aranda already.

# 14 is a huge disappointment, # 25 not so hot either and looked confused in some of those zones where he expected help but didn't get it.
JL better coach them up.

If Shaw was injured and isn't 100% next week, Chryst is a dope.
