Well let's discuss in obviously an incomplete conversation.

1. Coaching: Aside from the BAMA game where I personally believe he Coached not to be embarrassed rather than trying hard to win, I would say there have been relatively few reasons to be critical. The team is relatively well prepared, penalties higher than I would like, ball security pretty good, though Erickson has scared us a few times, specials have been very good, and we see improvement on the OL every week.

2.Recruiting: IMO, it's been fair to midland, yes, we have some solid players verballed but we are WISCONSIN after all, good academics, good win/loss percentages and good NFL results so we should recruit O.K.
He needs to step it up there by year three or basically, it isn't going to happen in that area. Bringing no-recruiters along like Settle and even IMO Hearring didn't help his chances to succeed there but let's see what happens after three years in that realm.

3.Program Buzz- I'd consider that LESS than under BB or GA, he isn't a great talker and his quietness doesn't support the program's National buzz, if he wins a lot that will be fine, if he wins less, not so good.

Overal I'd give him a grade of "B" so far.
