I know think it's VERY possible that his Badger future is decided Saturday night and/or in the follow game/games.

If early season reemerges I think Coan might stay and get a chance to win the job next year.
If Horni continues to play as good as he has last 2 games and we can only expect he'll get better next season, I think Coan will look to transfer and use that as his RS year.

As i mentioned, someone who knows people who know the situation have said Jack LOVES Madison but will have to make a decision if he sees there is no way to beat out Horni and two more years of sitting is in the cards with guys coming up behind him.

My guess is, under that scenario, he probably transfers.
