when I first watched his film I didn’t fall in love, looks and plays pretty heavy legged , doesn’t have great feet and doesn’t use his leverage great in the running game.I understand the 5.5 grade as compared to the 6. Grade for Logan Brown but the kid looks like he can be coached up and get better in our strength and conditioning program and maybe give us two good years out of five as a starter at Guard or RT.
Looks like 6’6 315 is easily in the cards, wouldn’t want to get him too heavy because he doesn’t move laterally very well now, though that could be technique IMO. I do love the fact that he stays on his feet and doesn’t try to pancake everybody and he bends fairlywell too.
I guess he’s worth a scholie on sheer size and performance alone but his senior film needs to show big improvement before I’d get to excited.
You know, if we had two scholies to give on The OL , instead of four, doubt we offer and verbal him this early.
Coaches see something I missed but then again, I liked the two Instaters we let Iowa take last go around, Wish one of them agreed to wait until 2018 class trough a Greyshirt!
