the more I watch this kids highlights, the better I like him.
To begin with he has a real RB body, thick powerful lower half makes it hard to tackle him, he has tremendous vision, enough patience, the ability to cut on a dime and even though he doesn’t appear to have great breakaway HR speed like a Jonathon Taylor he never gets caught from behind, sorta like a Monte Ball who played faster than his timed speed.
He looks to have very good ball security with the suggestion of good hands to go along with that ball security, doesn’t mind getting hit, and has the balance to stay on his feet and break tackles.
Aside from sprinters speed, this kid has everything.
Like to see him play at about 5’11 205 lbs because he’s one of those guys where the 205 will allow him to retain his quickness and the 205 lbs will play like 215-220 due to his drive, power and determination.
If he stays healthy, think he should have a huge career for us, maybe not a Mel Gordon/ Jon Taylor type but more of a grinder who will break them long more with eyesight and acumen than with 4.4 type speed.
Think he has a chance to be a VERY successful Badger back, reminds me of a Curtis Martin type, even moreso than Monte Ball did, plays bigger than his size like Curtis did.
