QB: Horni played OK, very Stave-like. Two bad picks, put some up for grabs, was lucky the refs didn't give them his fumble on the sack, made enough good throws to win.

WR: What can you say about Peavy, it's sad really, nothing to say. Davis & Cephus are both talented guys both scratching the surface with more in the tank but ball security is a huge issue, both let it swing away from their body after the catch.AJ Taylor is less worrisome in that area but his hands still need work.Love the three for next year and the year after, we're in great shape there, Davis is a real receiver, really wants the ball, Cephus occasionally looks bad going after the ball but he's a player no doubt.Think AJ will have one huge game before it's over this year.

TE: Penniston was the only TE he looked for, hope he develops, couldn't beat single coverage on the two pass plays deeper and made one solid grab.

RB: Taylor was pretty much only inside the tackles, would like to see him get around edges with his speed also.I don't think Shaw has his quicks back yet from the injury but showed pretty good power on a few runs, James didn't get many chances.Taylor had a good catch that was called back, really good hands on him.

OL: We tried a screen and boy did they look bad out there, Kapoi missed a block on the screen and BBenschwael allowed a sack, the interior was weakened with Dieter moving outside.Edwards played solid, getting better and better.

DL: I though James played very well, more and more of a factor each game, everyone else was reasonably stout, solid if not brilliant.Loudermilk, LOL, is a load, could be a high draft choice in three years.

OLBs: # 5 played his best game as a Badger, unblockable at times, didn't miss any tackles, very solid in every aspect of the game,Leon Jacobs was used almost as a DE on most passing downs and didn't have a great game, pretty ineffective in the pass rush and trailing the play too often on the short passes and early runs, not his best game.Van Ginkel applied pressure a few times and looks like he's getting close to being another valuable rusher and TFL guy.

ILBS: Edwards made a couple of huge hits but spent a lot of time in pass coverage, Orr was OK, made one good delayed rush and sack, not as active as in some other games, I thought Connolly was teriffic, rushed well, stopped the run and was back in coverage OK too, he's a sneaky good player.

CB: thought Tindal played fair at best. Missed tackles, looked bad on the pass interference play, wasn't great, Nelson played pretty well again and the Frosh is still learning.

Safeties: Jameson's best game ever, tackled, defended, Intercepted two, got the pick 6, supported in the run game, played very well and Dixon of course looked like a bullet on that safety, shot out of a cannon, great potentially game saving play and he blitzed well too.

kicking: Thought the punter did a fine job after a mediocre kick early on but Gags looks shaky, nothing looks down the middle, hope he gets better and quickly.

Overall, a good win that shouldn't have even been close if we kept the pedal to the metal.
Thorson made some bad errors but without a running game, most do.He was big, faster than I thought, strong in the pocket and has a very strong arm. Might be a pro.
