Both played hard as Badgers, both played injured, both left school with some physical issues and both have pretty much busted in the NFL, Konz worse than Carimi so far but both will have trouble making NFL rosters this season.
These really were great Badger OLs, who can forget Carimi shutting down NFL high draft choices week after week or Konz out there on Safeties and OLBs in the second level from the center position.
Really thought both were locks to be solid NFL OLs and yes, Carimi had some bad knee injuries and now Konz has a knee too.
Very surprising, guess we should be very glad Joe Thomas, Rickey Wagner, Kevin Zeitler Travis Fredrick are such good players, I guess they all can't have big NFL careers but really thought both Carimi and Konz had the goods.
