As a new poster here, I am stunned and disheartened by the comments I've read in recent previous threads, especially by this one poster in particular. This is a sports site about all of our favorite team, the Wisconsin Badgers, and the things that directly have to do with them. Not political commentary. Not a chance to advance your personal beliefs about sexual assault and consent. A person can have those opinions and discussions but I feel like that is for another site.
It's even more upsetting to see the scathing personal attacks that this particular poster lashes out with. I am no stranger to fan forums and chat rooms...people have heated discussions and sometimes haze each other. However, to suggest that a fellow poster's daughter is a slut and a drunk is going too far. As a paying member of this site, I would like to see our moderators keep the discussion sports based and ban this poster if he sends out posts that are either unrelated to a sports discussion or if he chooses to aggressively attack other posters.
If I am off base and this behavior is acceptable to other members here, then I will find a different fan site where this poster is hopefully not a member.
