Back in 1998, BA had what was probably his best team and they were undefeated going into the second last game of the regular season. What happened? They lost to Michigan 27-10 and also lost a perfect season. (The Badgers did beat Penn St the next week and beat UCLA in the Rose Bowl, but the loss to Michigan was the only loss that season).
Now there are differences between that situation and this year, the Badgers are at home and Michigan is a young team vs the Badgers on the road and Michigan was a veteran team (if my memory serves). The Badgers defense while very good in 1998, is not IMO as good as this defense. Ron Dayne is better than Jonathan Taylor of course, but JT's still pretty good. I'm sure many other similarities and differences could be talked about, but either way the Badgers have to play their best game of the year.
Not to put undue pressure on the players or coaches, but history can not be allowed to repeat itself, Michigan must not be allowed to steal the possible perfect season again.
