Rivals100 OT Logan Brown will be in Madison this upcoming weekend for the Northwestern game. His teammate, four-star DT Mazi Smith is unsure whether he will be making the trip as well. Didn't sound like he was likely to make it when I talked to him, but he was leaving the door open.
BTW, I saw Brown and Smith Friday night and they both were outstanding in a loss to league rival Grandville. Brown ended up leaving the game midway through the third quarter after getting both knees rolled up on at different points (Grandville's OL cut blocks all day long), but I was impressed with his toughness after coming back the first time and wanting to stay in after the second time. Expectation is he will be fine, probably a ligament strain at last word. Mazi, once he figured out the cut blocking scheme, was unstoppable. Both guys have great size. Logan looks like he was called from central casting when they needed a left tackle, and Mazi is ideally sized for the three-technique position.
