From ESPN scout:
Size-Strength-Athleticism
Good height with a lean build and needs to work to pack on more good mass to his frame, but looks to possess good length and room to support additional good size with time in a college weight program. Displays very good playing strength which should only continue to improve as he physically develops.
Pass Protection
Flashes ability to deliver a solid punch and while he may not consistently shock rushers with his hands can do a good job of quickly getting them inside and once he does can use reach to lock out and control rushers. Displays average lateral mobility though looks to maintain a good base and balance and once he gets hands on can stay in front of rushers and keep them at bay. Needs to add size, but flashes ability to sink and anchor well against current competition.
Run Blocking
May not be the biggest in terms of measureables, but can generate good push demonstrating ability to fire out with pad level, deliver good pop and roll hips and drive knees. As he continues to add mass and strength, could grow into a dominating drive blocker. Can continue to refine hand placement, but can be tough to shake once he gets locked on. Does good job of working to second level and locating and covering up targets.
Toughness
Tenacious blocker who doesn't let up until the whistle and his ability to finish should only improve as he continues to add size.
Bottom Line
Bruss is just a good, tough football player. If he possessed little better measureables could be a prospect garnering some more attention. Will need to slide inside to guard in college and will likely be a player you don't hear much from for a season or two, as he continues to physically develop, but if adds good size and continues to progress once he does hit the field could be a very good player for a FBS program.
