The entire 2nd half, after we decided we could not run, I kept thinking, GET THE BALL TO OUR GUYS WITH SPEED! When pryor gets the ball in space he has legitimate speed. Same with Davis... I wish we would have set up screens to those guys rather than to Groshek, who killed us at least twice because he cant catch....
I hope next season we try and get the ball to these speedy WRs early... that will OPEN the run more than the run opens the pass with this team.
granted against lesser competition we can just run the ball, but against teams with D-lines that are better than our O-line (tOSU), we wont be able to run the ball like we want...
We tried the end around one time and it didnt work, suprise we didnt try more too.
You have to have not only a power system set up, but also a speed system in case the power isnt there...
