I heard a comment on the radio that was pretty interesting about this years O-line and about going forward to next season. Apparently Chryst isnt very happy with the way this O line was developed in the weight room over the off season. Apparently, as soon as the season is over, he is going to make the strength of the O-line a major priority. He feels as though in years past the line weighed more, and was stronger in the weight room.

This makes me optimistic about next season for a few reasons. Im sure we will keep Clement because he did nothing this season. If he can stay healthy, he will be one of the best backs in the Big Ten.
This years OL was obviously banged up and young. Another year older, heavier and stronger could change this into a pretty tough group by next season and for several more years to come.
We wont lose anything with Houston at QB instead of Stave. With better protection he will have a better opportunity for success, plus I feel like he can pick up a few first downs with his legs unlike Stave.
Rushing, Sanders, Peavy, Wheelwright, Fumagali will all be back next year, so at least there is SOMETHING to work with although none of these guys has done too much yet. Wheelwright can be good but he is hurt a lot. Hell, maybe Gillinis will become a good WR

Overall, if Chryst can do what the says and make the OL heavier and stronger this off season, I think we will see Wisconsins classic running game come back which is good news.

Our schedule on the other hand is a whole different story !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
